What's New in Kindergarten?

What a busy first couple weeks back in Kindergarten!

Kindergarten Community:
- We have been getting back into our routines and have been discussing ideas to design our own centres for our centres classroom. Ask me what my dream centre would be!

English Language Arts:
- We have continued our alphabet bootcamp and have learned letters A-T! We are looking forward to our Alphabet Party when finish up the letters to Z.
- Can I write all the letters we've learned and tell you the sounds they make? Can I find these letters in environmental print within the community, at home and in stories we read?

Mathematics:
- Students have been strengthening their number sense and have been learning to write and represent the numbers to 10. Help me practice at home! Can I start adding and subtracting numbers?

Updates:
- We welcomed back our student EA Mrs. U! She will be in the classroom helping us out until April!

Can you help us out?
- Miss Tennis is in search of parents to make weekly batches of playdough! If you are able to make a batch please email Miss Tennis at tmtennis@cbe.ab.ca so we can begin slotting in weeks for playdough making!!
